TESTIMONY 

"I have worked closely with Simone on a number of projects over several years but engaged her last year in the rather significant tasks of helping me create some order, harmony and styling in my 4 bedroom house.

I have a 9 year old and 1 year old so along with my husband and the dog the house was chaotic and we were constantly trying to find lost items, typically right before school etc.  

 

This was having an impact of course on my mental wellbeing but also to the rest of the family. I am time poor because of the children and balancing work and so I just never seemed to get to “organise” the house or declutter and it was becoming a downward spiral. I had also not managed to put up a single photo (despite moving in 3 years ago), nor had I had the time or energy to even decorate my sons’ nursery. It always seemed to be on the “to do list”, which I never got to, so I decided to consult Simone and put the task in her capable hands.  

 

Simone tackled a variety of assignments within our home. These included: 

• Decluttering 

• Organisation of our kitchen, laundry, all the bedrooms, bathrooms, toy room, living room and garage.  

• Room and furniture arrangement of our living areas, outdoor deck and bedrooms 

• Decorating/dressing all 4 bedrooms including the nursery  

• Sourcing furniture where it was needed at very reasonable prices.  

• Selling furniture that we no longer required.  

• Printing, framing and placement of a significant number of photos around our home.  

• Styling/dressing a newly constructed studio room.  

 

The end result has been nothing short of life changing, namely because it has led to a lot less “mind clutter” because the house feels lived in but in a simplistic sense (as much as you can with a toddler). The layout and arrangement of our furniture is now more conducive to successful living and we have specific places for items so we can easily locate them when needed. School hats and such items have a specific drawer for example!! When people visit our home they comment on how the photos are such a positive feature of the house and it feels like a warm family home.  

 

Simone is always a pleasure to work with and she will listen to the wants and needs of the client whilst trying to steer them in the right direction to gently guide them towards their own goals."
